Dual core is new so it may take a while as games and other app's make good use of it. What you ordered will be fine. 3.2GHz will last a while. You'll get a noticeable speed boost just getting your RAM up to 2GBs or more (especially with newest games), and if necessary, faster video card as time goes on. But nothing wrong with the X600. My older 9600 Pro will works fine for online Battlefield 2 gaming, just not the highest settings. As you feel it getting slow, just add RAM first, then look at video update. Good price for a solid foundation machine.
I'm at a crossroads at the moment myself, but I've worked out the cost of a newly built gaming PC and decided to just boost my current Athlon 2800+ with more memory and one final AGP video card (6800 GS). Should last 2 more years for me and still be able to handle Vista before I hand it down to my 8 yr old.
