pennies in the door

i guess this is where this goes. anyway, apparently somebody thought it would be an outstanding idea to put loose change (pennies) in my door's cup holder. i kept hearing rattling every time the door speaker would hit so i looked down there and saw all of this god forsaken change. they looked all gross and sticky so i was like "no.. f*ck it. i'm not getting that now. i'll do it later". well, procrastination led to a few weeks later and then finally i took all the pennies out and STILL heard rattling. i looked down there again and i noticed there's just enough space for a few pennies to slip down under where the cup holder is. i saw that the cup holder is a seperate piece from the whole door panel itsself. my question is.. do you think i would have to take off the whole panel to get this sh*t change out or should i just work at it and get that cup holder out?

You may have to pull the door panel but it's not that complicated. Just take you time and make sure you get all the retainer clips.

are these retainer clips anything like the god forsaken "b!tch clips" that my VW GTI had? if so, TAKE YOUR TIME. and dont break any cause they're so wack! lol.

*sigh* ok.. next day off i'm gonna tackle it. i may post pictures so just in case anybody else drops something into the cup holder (change, wedding rings, small children) that doesn't belong.

Getting the panel off shouldn't be hard for you at all. Especially since you will likely only need to take the bottom portion off. Here's a link with some instructions:
