Pedals falling off

Anyone else been having problems with their pedal plates falling off? My clutch pedal's plate will not stay on. Of all things that could go wrong this is the silliest.

dont they screw on? I honestly have never looked before

if they do just put a little loctite on the screws and put them back in, if not I dont know :(

If they screwed on it would be a simple fix like you said. But they have a little rubber lip around the backof them that just envelopes the actual pedal. I keep putting it back on right but somehow it manages to fall back of. Maybe I just need to work on my technique of putting my foot on my clutch pedal. I don't know. Like I said it's silly isn't it.

Yeah that is weird, this is the first time I remember hearing of this issue though. You could take it back and get it replaced under warranty if you still have warranty. Or if you call Sparco directly they maybe nice enough to replace it, worth a shot ;)

Take some RTV Black weatherstripping sealant and put it on the bare pedal before slipping the pedal back on. Let it rest for a while before using it, so the sealant can cure, and you should be cool. =)

Bring it to the dealer and show them.....I've replaced several sets so far.....mainly 3.5's

mine only popped off once, its fine now. Driving in ******* boots rubbed off the mazdaspeed on my 03.5 clutch pedal, it rubbed through the aluminum :(. Will they replace that under warranty? I doubt it.

I recall them replacing shift knobs that were all worn out under warranty, so I wouldn't be too suprised (birthday)

I had to get a new brake pedal cover, cause mine wouldn't stay off. what a joke...
