pcv delete

Has anyone done this? Are their any downsides? I have my mass airflow relocated nd I've had a p1071 for the longest time so I thought maybe the pcv was a vac leak and sure enough I pluged the nipples on the mani and put breathers on the valve cover and my p1071 never came back and hasn't had any symptoms of it my idle is the smoothest its ever been EVER

did you try just replacing the vac line going to it?

Yea replaced both the valve and lines and car would still idle like crap
