park light replacement

I know this may seem easy to some, but I am having a bugger of a time getting access to my 04 m6 headlight assembly to replace my little park light contained in the high beam housing with an LED .... anyone know how to do this, and can give me pointers? I tried asking the dealer, but they didn't want to tell me exactly how to do it.

when you look at the headlight assembly under the hood, there should be a black access cover. Take that off and take a peak inside the access port. You should see the long plastic piece holding the bulb. It is a snug fit so pull on it gently and it should come out. Then you can replace your bulb.
