painting calipers

Excellent choice. Do it black Papi. I have the same black/chrome on my Acura so I went with the same style rim to compliment it and then a black gloss for the calipers.

Even when using the special brake paint it still flakes off after a while. Just stay stock.

What have you used? I've used the G2 caliper paint kit on my Integra and that lasted for 2 years, even in winters and thousands of highway miles. I sold the car with 170K miles and it still looked great. After a year on my P5 I only had to touch up one little spot on a rear caliper. I find the brush on method the best.

Looks good. Now paint those rotor hats as well.
prob get new ones before i paint 'em. i know i got a few hot spots and to sand them down would take a while!

i like that colour. what kind of silver is it and how long did it take to finish?
the color is just Dupli-Color brand silver caliper pant (black was same brand). i bought a spray can but sprayed it in the lid and used a foam brush and some small kids art brushes to apply.
the prep work is the biggest pain in the ass (not to mention i started in the middle of this crappy heat wave we are having in N.E.) to do all 4 i think it took 3 1/2 to 4 hours. with 85% being prep work. the other thing i bought, which i will swear by is a wire brush attachment for my cordless drill. if you have a lot of build up it will be impossible to remove without some powered device.
