Painting an Intake?

Okay. I was just wondering if anyone has painted their own intake.
I have a AEM CAI. It's supposed to be a polished silver but it has a lot of blemishes that prevents it from looking super clean.
What would be the best method to have it painted?

If it were me I think I would try bead blast, or a light sandblast and then powdercoat it pink like your emblems. or scuff the shine off and spray it pink.
