Paint the grill and emblem or just the grill?

Looks a bit like a protege!!

If only you could take it all out and fill in the little bubble the emblem leaves on the bottom. I think open mouth is the way to go. I'll probably get the autoexe at some point, just not looking forward to cutting apart my bumper cover

I truly do not want to have to cut out the bumper for the autoexe, why cant out bumper's be like the regilar 3 or every other car where the grill is removable! Plus the autoexe piece is like $100+

Here....I did it to my car a while back. Sanded the piece and painted it with a durable primer to match the matt black finish of the car. hope this helps.

that looks great! I just bought the paint today, I went with semi-gloss black ass opposed to gloss black, since most of the exterior trim pieces are semi gloss or matte to begin with. just not sure about painting the emblem also

apparently your a douchebag who can't read anyways. I mentioned i did it in MS paint a crap job. I dont have phososhop on my computer. Didnt have to be done all fancy anyways, I just wanted to black out the emblem and have people judge if it would be a good idea from the picture.

I'm not here to be judged on my ms paint skills, just wanting people to tell if they think painting the whole grill and emblem should be painted or just the grill by itself

im thinkin of repainting my stock grille on my 99 protege... its the light black plastic and its begining to wear out and look crappy. i will probably use the left over semi gloss i have from my wheel covers. going with the black and white theme here. not flat black. need to get the windows tinted too. thatll make a big difference.
