p5 tire life

i was lowering my car this weekend and when i took off the front tires i noticed extreme amounts of wear. i rotated my tires and everything is ok for now, but the front tires had a lot of wear. they had been rotated once before. my car has almost 15k miles on it already is this normal? i do a decent amount of hard driving, but not that much, many of the miles were highway to and from school, about 120 miles each way on the weekends. anyway, is this normal for p5 tires?? im gonna look at getting some msp rims from someone on this board to replace these for summer tires.

i got 15k on my car and the front tires look bad. they look almost bald. i want to pick up new tires for my stock wheels, but i plan on purchasing new 17" wheels and tires soon.

It depends, what tires do you have? Was your suspension stock up until now, and was the wear even? Do you often do hard launches with wheel spin? Any track time?

I have the hated RE92's on my sedan and mine are about done at 31K, but most of my commute (85 miles a day) is highway, so...... But I have an auto so except in autox I can't wear my tires as fast.

Mine aren't bad. 26,000 miles. about 60-70% tread.

Im almost at 30k and I am going to raotate the tires one last time. Did it when I painted my calipers since I had all thw wheels off anyway, and then they are done, the fronts right now are pretty bad, and since I recently moved to washington, and the rain, I spin all the time. not so much in Az but that was with hot tires on hot asphalt.

I think I have a hookup for a set of tires now but need to upgrade to 18" wheels cause then I have a premanent hookup for pirellis.

my suspension setup was stock until now, the wear was very even. i rotated once when i painted my calipers that was around 5k miles. the front were extreemely worn, in some places even bald but the wear was still pretty even. i dont do a lot of hard launches, i would only say like 2 a week when im ******* around with my friends, i sometimes powershift though getting wheelspin between first and second. but neitehr of these do i do a lot, i dont want to ruin my car. no track time, but i do have some autox time, my friends set up a track in a local parking lot and we used to run it every weekend at the end of the last summer, i would say i have maybe 25-30 runs total the course wasent that long though, maybe 150-200 yards max, but i got wheelspin when going around the turns autox ing

I've had my car for a year now and just hit 5300 miles and my front tires are worn way more than my rear tires are but they are worn evenly and I noticed this before I put my springs on and they have only been on for about a month and a half, these dunlop tires are crap

dunlop told me they would warrenty them but they had to be down to 2/32

do u know how long the warranty is? my car is like a year and a half old. would it still apply, cus the tires definatley had less than 2/32 they were almost bald.

i got about 24000 and half life left. i'd i've been to the track. i try to take care of my car but i find myself letting go on the weekends.

I sold my stockers with 20K on them with 80% tread! I though I drove hard, but I guess not.
