Anybody have thier rear washer nozzle leak when accelerating? I am having this problem occur twice. The dealer replaced my rear washer nozzle twice already now its leaking again. Need any info on this.

Mine used to leak. Once the dealer replaced it, everything has been OK!
No more leaking....
Maybe they installed it wrong:confused:

oooohhh....so that's what that is....I guess it really hasn't bothered me that much where I feel the need to have it looked at. I guess I can attribute my great deal of tolerance with crazy little quirks like these to all the old cars I have had. I guess I am not that knit-picky...not to offend anyone...jeez, what kind of world do we live in that we have to say that kind of thing... ;)

I have seen this before....on another board....and there is a solution IF the dealer doesn't help you out.....just crimp the hose from the tank to the back off....that settles that...no more leak! lol

I RARELY ever use the back wiper....much less the washer for it.

OR if you have a wet and dry season...and you don't use it during the dry season....get a valve for instrament tubing....put it inline...then turn it off during the dry season and on during the wet season....:D

Mine leaks also, but I'm always look'n in my rear view mirror and I notice it right away. I take my P5 to the dealer for the oil changes and they do that '17 point' inspection or whatever, where they check and top off fluids. It seems to leak more after it's been filled up. I use the cleaner quite a bit for those darn bugs (country drive'n), it stops leak'n after that.

well my cars at the dealer for the third time to fix this problem. im keepingmy fingers crossed they fix this. keep you guys updated on what they replace.

Personally, I just can not see invoking the lemon law for a leaky rear window washer.....I would fix it LONG before EVER getting rid of my P-5. even if it ment totally disabling it.

yeah I am with you on that Sir Nuke. After all the stuff I did to my car too it would be a hassle.

Like Sir Nuke mentioned above, you could plug it or put a valve or something on it. But if anybody was actually hell-bent on taking the thing out, like tubes and stuff, I know they run along the passenger side. I took the light grey panel off that runs along the windshield on the passenger side, and the power wire and tube for the fluid were behind there.

Not that anybody cares or is actually gonna tear all that outta there, but hey, now ya know and as GI JOE said, knowing is half the battle ;)

well just a call from the dealer, looks like it needs a rear washer check-valve to solve this problem. thought i'd mention this to you guys planning on bringging in the car for this problem. we shall see if this is the problem or not when I get my car back!
