P5 rear speakers

So I bought 2 pairs of 5x7 speakers online after both Best Buy and Car Toys told me that fronts and backs are 5x7. Installed the front speakers today then took off the rear door panel only to find out that the speakers are 6".
Since I bought the speakers online they will be a pain to return, and cost me more money. So I'm curious what you guys think about cutting the holes bigger in the door to accommodate the 5x7's? Not too sure I want to just start hacking away on my new ride.
But I must say I love the way the front set sounds so the idea does have me intrigued.

Also any tips on how to do it? I was thinking maybe just use a sawsall. Then I'm sure I'd need to use some type of sealent or paint to protect from rust.

Don't do it!

Sell them to somebody on this board and take the hit. Do not cut your car, car audio is cheap these days and so many options have forced pricing down to where almost anybody can afford a decent system that will fit in your car without cutting into it.

I think you will be happier if you return the 5x7s and get 6 1/2s. The thought of cutting the doors made me cringe. You can find some 6 1/2s that sound good too.
