Hahaha jason your gonna go to jail. If you ever take your car in for service there gonna wonder where the hell 20k miles went.

No I won't...I got a new engine 9000 miles ago...remember? The jspec... I thought you guys knew that... So its the true milage now...yeah.

You should mount the original gauges, pedals, steering wheel on the other side so it looks like you need 2 people to drive the car. lol driver and co driver.

Yeah, I could put the new gauges on the passanger side. That whole side of the car is 3 months newer than the rest of the car. I doubt its a 19000 mile difference though...

Update! And Frustration...

So I got the back seat in good. The back part bolted in just like the P5 seats did. The bottom is still kind of just sitting there, but I took out the black bars that hold in the P5 seats so that it rests a little better. 3 pics on these 3 posts...

The frustration part is the steering wheel. I unhooked my negative from the battery, hit the brake until all the lights went out. Then let it sit while I did the back seat. I got the air bag out with no problem. Got the huge nut off the center that holds the wheel on. Then there was this thick ass glue holding the wheel in place. I couldn't get the thing off, and just decided to do it later, and put everything back together. Is this when a heat gun would come in handy? If so I'm going to go buy one. And maybe do the fake short shifter mod while I'm at it.

Just updating you guys. The steering wheel and pedals are all thats left!

hmmm cool... i never knew the sedan and P5's back seats are the same...

They are not 100% the same. The bottom of the back sit is just sitting there. Sort of jammed into place :p

Thanks! Are you going to be at the Rife meet? I'll be there. I think it will be my last time up there until the big dance on the 15-16th. Theres too much drama going on down here, I dont know if I'll have time for anything for awhile.

About the Odo reading.....my landlord's speedometre in his 1993 Toyota Previa died about 3 years after he got the car. Toyota had to replace it when it had 40,000 miles on it. So his new odo reading is 40,000 miles less than what is actually on the car. Who's to know?

The problem is I always go to the dealership to get anything done to the car. Including little oil changes. And they put in their computer how many miles I have, everytime I go in there.

I am wondering if the mazdaspeed protege have different floor mats as our protege5. I acctually went to my dealership and asked, but they said that they were the exactly same. But from what i know is that Mazdspeed protege floor mats have a badge saying Mazdaspeed, right?

Yeah, it says mazdaspeed instead of mazda. And the doorsills are different too.
