P5 in Snow?

My P5 does great in snow with my snow tires mounted on 14 inch steel rims. I got a package from discounttire.com for $425, with everything from shipping to insurance on tires. They did a super job with all the snow we got last winter. The dunlops suck in the snow......i think they are great tires for driving on dry roads. THey also suck in the rain after about 50% wear.

Can you give me the specifics of your winter wheels/tires? I wasn't sure 14's would fit -- I know they're goofy looking but they're damn cheap!!!

Thanks!

PS - Any more pics of your ride? My P5 is also Black Mica with 5 speed and leather. I also have the ABS/Airbag and Moonroof/Changer packages. Love this car!!!

My car does great. But when the wheels break loose in the snow it really starts to slide to the right. Fun car in the snow thought. I will drive in anything untill the front bumper won't let me snow plow anymore.

:D

Since I need to have studded snow tires on for about 7 to 8 months here, I splurged and got a set of Sport Edition 16" rims with glacier grip studded tires. The car handled pretty darn good. Cannot remember the exact dimensions of the tires, but they are slightly wider than stock.

Also, there is more to driving in snow then just the automobile. 4-wheel drive will not help you stop faster than front wheel drive.
