And the materials:

FX-R projectors
Morimoto 4300k D2S bulbs
DDM Tuning 35W ballasts
D2S bulb adapters
GTI-R shrouds

Here are my PNP DDM Tuning HID's as is:

And a test fire of the FX-R projector on the radiator support:

Finished results: I started Friday afternoon and finished up Saturday night. Here are some crappy pics for now:

My lenses aren't the cleanest but I plan on getting new ones eventually. The setup is awesome to drive on and the bi-xenon is incredible. I'll get some more pics soon when I have access to a tripod.

Here is the how to thread:

Thanks for the comments guys. The projectors were 150 shipped, Morimoto D2S bulbs, GTI-R shrouds, and D2S bulb wiring adapter bulbs were 67.50 shipped, and the DDM Tuning HID kit was 55 shipped.

Took almost 15 hours of work but well worth it. The best way to aim it was through trial and error, which took most of the time.

Thanks for the comments guys. Here is my attempt at cutoff shots, I can't figure out how to get good shots without exposure above the cutoff, I did the best I could with my DSLR.

Low beam:

High beam:

The ground wasn't straight but the cutoff is (I lined up the camera line with the cutoff). I couldn't find a much better area to get pictures.

Looks great man. Now if someone would run up in there with some fiberglass and smooth everything up inside the headlight and make it look like all one piece... that would = (boobs)

I could do that but then I would have to eliminate the high beam area. Even though it isn't being used it would be a big pain and I would basically have to re-do everything. I do plan on getting new headlight lenses eventually though.

holy s***, that looks sweet as hell,
its funny how when u said u were going to do a retrofit everyone was telling u how hard it was and u finished it in one day LOL

but seriously, im going to need a link with all these parts and some info on how the projector is attached,
also did u have to buy diff HID bulbs to fit into the projectors?

any pics of where you had to cut the housing to install the projectors and how you have it secured?

Here is a picture drawn in Photoshop to show how I modified the reflector:

reflectorhousing.jpg

I drilled out the low beam hole do get it just the right size so that the projector bulb hole was sticking out about an inch, then from there I hot glued the projector into the housing (aim the projector outside first on the actual car) then mark the holes with a sharpie and drill them out. After that, I epoxy'd the projector to the hole that was drilled out, then I used steel bolts with lock nuts to hold the projector in the housing in addition to the epoxy. After the epoxy dried, I covered the exposed screws below the nut with RTV on the outside. The longest part of this process is getting the projector aimed correctly. I would suggest having another person helping you throughout the retrofit as having a second hand is extremely helpful in holding things to drill, aiming the projector, etc.

And once you get the projector tilted correctly/pointed in the right direction, the reflector housing has two aiming screws, one goes up and down, and the other one goes left and right. This gave me quite a bit of room to aim after I had everything permanently mounted into the reflector.
