P5 Clear Corners

Just wondering if anyone had tried the RX7 clear corners on their P5. While parked next to a 3rd gen I noticed the markers were exactly the same but backwards. (Left on the right side, right on the left side.) So I found a set for the RX7 on e-bay for a decent price and got them. Just wanting to know in advance how they will work.

i used them and they don't fit without some cutting and then adding a "gasket around the lens. they're more "flat" and not concaved as the stock ones. they look okay when done though.

How did you make/what did you use for the gasket? How much did you have to cut? And do the look okay, or do they look good.

i have them too. they do fit with some cutting of the markers back side and over all their the best ones out there right now.

Oh, you you just have to cut the markers, not the bumper? Good!

i didnt want to cut my bumper so i cut the back of the maker itself.

What/how much did you have to cut off the backing?

what you sould do is take the old ones off, then test fit the new ones on your bumper to see were to cut. then make the cuts on the marker. and if you cant figure out how to fasten them then you could always use good double sided tape. i did both i used a fastener and put some double sided tape on the back side.
use some 3m vhb tape. if you can get 3m vhb tape its the best.
