Subbed.
Swapping to the msp setup but plan on upgrading to the 6 brakes eventually; though I might only do the fronts. From what I gathered, the msp and 6 rear rotors are the same size.

The Parts are in...

I received the braided brake lines and clutch line. All the parts are in (my living room)!

Now:

Cleaning Calipers and rebuilding with a silver paint finish

Calipers are painted and Baked (cured)

I used a 900 degree Silver Paint. You have to bake the paint to a cure for 1 hour at 250 degrees in the oven.IMG_0336.webpIMG_0337.webpIMG_0336.webpIMG_0337.webp

Stock P5 16 rims with Brake Mod - more pics to come

Here are a few pics to confirm stock P5 rims work with the BBK Mod.

Took Brian K's advice and went with Hawk HPR pads for full set $126

I will remove the wheels this weekend when I do the rears and take pics with the Braided lines.

Issue: Installing the braided lines, you have to make sure you line up the keyed end into the mount for the retainer clip so it is secured fully.

The clutch is definitely more responsive with the braided line installed.

ps How do you add pics so they populate instead of a instead of seeing a click-able link to the picture?

I choose add file inline

Rear brakes installed. Adjusted and job Complete!

Was it worth it?

Braking is definitely better. Cost almost $600: Rotors, calipers and brackets, brake pads, caliper rebuild kits, fluids.

Since my brake hoses were all original, I popped my original clutch line last year, I knew it was time for them to go. Braided lines are worth it.
I do find it weird that the brake pads don't cover the rotor fully. My neighbor has a 2007 Mazda 6 and I confirmed that is how it is on his as well.
