P26FE :00-27 Exhaust Flow Control Valve 'A' Control Performance (CX-5 2021)

Hi everyone,

Recently a code “ vehicle system malfunction” appear on my CX5 Mazda 2021 touring skyactive 2.5 L petrol and took it for scan and had the below error code
P26FE :00-27 Exhaust Flow Control Valve 'A' Control Performance
Anyone can help what’s exactly means and hopefully how to fix it
Note, noticed some lack in performance and petrol consumption

How many miles on it? Do you still have 60,000-mile / 60-month powertrain warranty?

Hi, it has low mileage 32000 miles but I don’t have warranty on it it’s an import car
Can you help with this

Import from where ?
US models dont have active exhaust valve if I recall.

There is bulletin for the 3/cx30 2.0 skyactivX in Europe. Not sure if it relates to your problem. Assuming there isnt a mechanical problem. 31000 miles is very low (if they are the real miles) and there shouldnt be any major issues.

remedy: Update software (by Mazda dealer).

I would get the car inspected by a Mazda dealer whenever you are.
