P1562 Powertrain Control Module +BB Voltage Low

******* s*** i just figured out it's the ECU getting low voltage DAMN IT.
does the +BB mean anything?

+B i think is short for the positive battery terminal I think. I don't know what +BB is.

meh, could it be because i tapped into the famous pin 71 for power and the haltech is sucking the voltage out?

damn wiring i can never do it right.

::bump::
is there a way to check the alternator while it's still inside the car?

Is your battery being charged fully? You could check the voltage of your battery while the car is running. It should be fairly stable at somehwere in around 13-14v I think, and not steadily dropping. If your alternator is really dead, eventually your car will die while driving, and will maybe start later after the battery sits for a while. At least that's what happened when I had a bad alt. in my other car. Unless maybe it is somehow only partially working.

alright i went back to the wiring, and apparently you have to give the two memory wires power in order for the ECU to tell the alternator to stop working. That's kind of odd in my opinion... but it worked, i get steady voltage and no battery or check engine light \m/.

for some reason the fuse going to my alarm shorted out about 5 times, have NO idea why, as soon as i reconnected the power it would just short, that'll get solved a long time from now. i could actually tune with the wideband now that it's getting steady voltages =)
