Outside Temp Reading keeps going back to F (fahrenheit)

I followed the user manual procedure to switch the gauge to read celsius. It reads celsius fine when it is on. Then I switch it off and wait about 10 mins, start the engine again, the gauge reads fahrenheit.
I repeated the step to set it at celsius again, but it went back to fahrenheit afterward in the same situation.

Anyone have this issue? My gauge has some problems?

Try disconnecting your battery for a few minutes and reconnecting to see if that resolves the issue. Afterward, you'll need to reinitialize the power windows and sunroof. If you haven't done it before, the directions are in the manual, pgs 3-31 & 3-34, just takes a few seconds to do each.
