Outside Mirror

My wife just cracked the right hand mirror housing. It looks like it might pop back in if I take it apart fully but wanted to see how to do so in case there are parts I might break. I haven't found a parts diagram of any kind. Sure wish I had them fancy electric mirror folders now.

The housing snaps into the black base. You can adjust the mirror as far as it will go in one direction or the other, and that enables you to see behind the mirror glass, to guide the housing clips into place. There are ways to pull the mirror glass off/out, but I wouldn't run the chance of breaking the whole thing doing that.

Send me an e-mail address thru PM, I will send you two pages describing how to remove the glass
and pop the garish. Not that difficult.
Proceed at your own risk, though.
It is fun to DIY, but breaking something is not unheard of.
