Anytime you get rear ended, you always report it immediately to your insurance company and make sure the police do a detailed report at the scene. I was stopped in traffic at a red light when I had my 1994 Honda Prelude, and got rearended by some absentminded broad in an Expedition. Hit me so hard I rolled into the Rodeo stopped ahead of me. I notified my insurance company and got all the other drivers' info, and even filed an accident report, but I didn't have the police come down to see the accident. Because of that, the b**** who hit me changed the story, saying I rear ended the Rodeo first and THEN she rear ended me. So I got stuck with the bill to fix the front of my car, AND half the total cost of the rental I was in while the body shop had my car.
In the end, my car was totaled anyways... that's why I got my P5.
But it still sucked, and I'm still out about $500 from the stupid rental. :wtf:
