Ordering accessories from Mazda?

So i bought my 2 on 4/11 and ordered the factory armrest that same day. I still haven't received it and was wondering if anyone bought parts from the dealer and how long it took to get your parts?

Woah, that's way too long for you not to see your arm rest! I purchased my 2 on 4/13/12, ordered my arm rest a week after that and got it exactly 3 days later.

I havent ordered anything for my mz2 but out of my past experience. it varies from couple of days to 2weeks. u have to consider is the parts instock from warehouse or not. if its straight from japan then it will be max 2weeks

Call the dealer you ordered it from and ask what's up. There is a chance it may not have been ordered. There is also a chance that it's on back order too as previously stated. Typically it should take around two to three days to receive a special order, unless you live in Hawaii or Alaska.

My dealer actually had mine overnighted from the nearest warehouse for not that much. (I think it was like 10-15 bucks at the most or I would've said no to it.) I bet they haven't actually ordered it, they didn't order mine when I bought the car and I had to place my own order like a week later.

I went to Northtown, its ten minuets from me. I forgot to call because i went on vacation the other day.

Oh. Hmmm. I ordered an armrest for the 2 today from Towne. Said it should be here Friday.

yea i called them tuesday and they said they had no evidence of it being ordered. so they tell me they will order it and it'll be here friday and that they would call me when it arrived. well i worked late friday and they were closed so i went today, i get to the guy and he says he has it and he will cash me out. yea i already paid for it, so i had to wait an hour for my salesmen to walk over and say yea thats his and i walked out.

That sucks about the inattentiveness of your dealer. I'd complain to the owner!
