Opinions...?

If I lived in a warmer winter climate where RWD didn't matter I'd buy that. Too bad I want to do what they did with that car to my MS3.

I live close to this, so I'm good. I'm just worried about the obivous, like 165,000 miles
I know its been done up fully by dinan, but still that's a good amount of use. Also, its probably got no sound deadening

honestly, nothing compares to a car like that. A true RWD sports car. Plus, it weighs nearly nothing.

I love European Cars, but I also like mine a lot too. The only thing I dont like about the Speed is that most of the parts are pretty cheap, and this would be a bit more solid, plus its super sexy

This motor has been rebuilt by Dinan, meaning it's awesome. This one makes 238 hp, and weighs like 2200 lbs. Sooo...

Exactly. I spent a day lapping Infineon in a Dinan M3. It was an unbelievable car; much more fun on the track than my MS3. That said, I'll probably end up with an E46 M3; it will be a bit more practical as a daily driver and still be reasonably fast on the track.

I wouldn't do it... It'd be fun as a second car or track car... but to replace your MS3 with an old M3 isn't the best idea IMO. Trust me, I browse other forums, cars.com, ebay and the like to see what is out there... you have to factor in the good and bad... not just that the car is lighter and faster. Do you ever track your car to the point that those factors would even matter? I don't, so that's why I wouldn't even consider anything lighter or smaller... MS3 is plenty good to drive, why give up a good thing?

EDIT: After actually reading the add, there is no way in hell I'd trade my pristine MS3 for this. It's a race car... racing seats, roll cage... I don't care if the engine was tuned by Dinan, I'm not trading my hot hatch for a 22 year old 165,xxx mile Bimmer.

I would understand a "lightly used" E46 M3 with, say, 40,000 miles or so... but a definite no go on this M3.
