Opinions on CorkSport Intake

So I'm getting ready to order an intake/turbo inlet pipe combo from Corksport. Just wanted to see what those of you who have it think about the product. Also anyone know of a promotion code I can use on their website?

I have the intake and am pleased with the gains, both in sound and performance. Not aware of any promo codes, but the price is already pretty sweet compared to purchasing the collective parts separately. Install was a bit of a pain, but that was mostly due to me doing it outside in cold weather.

on a side note how do u like your vibrant exhaust badmotorfinger? hows the sound?

Ya it seems like from what I read that it's a pretty solid piece. I ordered the parts yesterday, so hopefully it won't take too long to get here. Can't wait to install it, see how the turbo sounds and performs. Thanks for the feedback.

I am very pleased with the Vibrant sound. At idle and cruising it has a low mellow tone, but sounds wicked when accelerating hard. Some subdued burbles and pops too when coming to a stop. Can't wait for warm weather to hear it (and the intake/inlet/forge) with the windows down!

hmm.. i was gonna go with the corksport one but i might just have to rethink my options

Badmotorfinger, could you hear the stock blow off valve with the corksport intake/inlet?

Yes, ithe sound of the stock bypass valve was quite noticable. Sort of a "pssshhh" I probably would have left it alone, but the Forge was already ordered.

You're not going to get a better deal brand new for an SRI and turbo inlet together.

Installed mine Friday night. Turbo spools quick, and def feels like it pulls harder...and quicker. Not to mention it sounds great!!!

It's good to hear positive feedback. I can't wait for it get here this week so I can install it over the weekend.
