i tried to seperate mine but the damn sealant would not melt.... needless to say the plastic bent so i threw one away..... c/f ones are in the mail though

Here is the pic. They are APC 3D series.

I'm definatly about these lights. I'll be painting the plastic body color when they come out. They look stock in a futury sort of way when painted. I saw them on APC's Protege 5 at HIN and they looked good, I thought.

If nothing else they are definatly a better alternative to aftermarket taillights from the cheap looking chrome or fake carbon fiber stuff that's out there.

Those 3D tails are suppose to be coming out this year sometime. Who knows really though.

Isn't APC in the process of getting sued anyway? :lol:

I've been calling them every couple months and they say this year is what they are expecting. Last time I talked to them was just about a month ago. Who knows...


It might help move things along if we all write them and call them bugging them to get them out.

well you see it's no big deal that it is illegal, seeing as so is every aftermarket lamp, DOT approved or not, that doesn't make it legal in your state. I have the carbon fiber altezzas and they are illegal, no biggie. They just aren't coming out cause there is, "no market".

Only reason they have parts for our car is they made it for their show proeteg5. If they can make a good profit on the product they will mass produce it,. ie, the carbon fiber hood. Not the case with these retro 3-d lights
