It started out a lot of fun but now it's just frustrating where I am. It's a fun concept, but it's only really competitive when you are at the bottom rung of it all. If you want to get better stuff then you can't compete with most people.

Maneuverability is basically the same and it's hard to get a hit unless someone is a moron. No one wants to run around or travel the map because it wastes battery life.

I guess it's just fun customizing your bot if you have the means.

The battery life thing does annoy the hell out of me. I upgraded to the Medium chassis, and I can barely move without running out of battery. This is with the better battery, and the medium motor.

Yeah, I got the bigger motor (don't think it's that great, prob just uses more battery), then I got the alkaline. I'm saving up for a medium chassis to I can start out with better armour.
It's just such a strugle right now, most people can't compete against me and guys with flamethrowers keep challenging me.

I actually just beat a flamethrower. I'm using the Dagger, with a Plow on the back.

It is really hard to find a specific opponent on the list. I don't see you, but then the list keeps shifting, so I don't know if you're not on, or if I just missed you in the shuffle.

Yeah, the list sucks too, keeps moving and you can't search for a specific name without it shifting. Next bot I make is going to have a name in all caps

If you are behind a router, you can not challenge other people behind other routers. You can however challenge people behind the same router or firewall, for example your friends at school or the office plus everyone connected directly to the Internet.

If you use a personal firewall - allow traffic over port 1626 and you will be able to play everyone.

You get a small chassis, small motor, weak battery and 4 small wheels to start. I recommend selling the wheels, getting 3 small wheels instead (better maneuverability, plus you get some money back). I've tried a couple of different weapons. Oil slick is useless. I'm currently running really basic weapons.

The power axe looks good and does a lot of damage, but I beat power axes almost everytime 'cause they hit really slowly. I charge at them with my spikes, hit head on, and bounce away before they drop the axe on me. Endless amusement!

Yeah, the power axe is not very good. I also kill all these power axe people. I almost had a guy with flamethrower, they run out after a while I guess and he was just really slow, I guess because of the weight.
