One Year With My 2016 CX-5 Touring

Probably fewer remember the floor mounted high beam switches :-)

I remember them getting stuck once the water and dirt made their way in there.

I'm not a speed demon by any means, but when I want to put distance between the annoying bumper-rider and myself, I don't have to floor it to do so. Many times I've left others at the traffic light without flooring it. My CX-5 has pick-up. I've only used Sport Mode a couple of times, but that really kicks things up a notch.
Ha! I know it probably doesn't make sense, but when someone's tailgating me I usually slow down just to annoy them more and make them pass me. :D

LOL

My parent's had a VW beetle when we were kids - not only had the high beam button like that, but also had a toggle switch beside it to swap over to the "reserve" section of the gas tank!

And wasnt that VW 6v high beam bright!!

Too funny... my parents had a '62 VW when they got married around the same time and remember my dad talking about the reserve option on the bug and no fuel gauge. They also had a '64 Ford Falcon station wagon and I remember as a kid playing with the manual windshield washer. It had a water bottle type bag in the engine bay but the washer was operated by foot pedal in the area of a foot operated parking brake.
