I think that goes way back to when the term "flashy red sports car" was created! Lambos, ferrari, vette's whatever, it was mostly the popular sports car color. If the population of fast sports cars on the road were red then they were the ones with the most tickets.

I know that some don't but there are some that I've met who do....the ones back home were like the rejects from everywhere else...

Yes it was a joke but sadly kind of serious too....but no I do not think that red cars are faster...I have a silver car...that means silver's faster (laugh)
