One More BEGI owner Update!

Wshade- I know you also have the pierburg aux pump... Do you feel this has helped you at all?

I'm highly considering one-even though most of the experts say it isn't needed.

When I punch it hard and am at max boost for more than a few seconds (i.e. 3rd gear or second where you may hit 6psi at like 4K) I hear a faint sound. I can't figure if it's knock or something else. I may richen it up a bit and see if that helps.

All I know is I want to be at 8psi-safely.
 
I love these updates smp3000 (thumb)...it's great not only for you guys but all of us who like to stay updated on how the turbo kits are doing. You guys have become like a family within a family...the "BEGI" connection. :D

What does that mean for those of us who are getting the FM Protege Turbo (like next week?)???
 
I just received the device and will be putting it in today. I just install The downpipe that eliminates the first cat. The car running good and now I am running 7 psi as a result of the new downpipe.
 
hmmmmm Where did you get that downpipe MP3CT? I have been trying to find someone to make me one!
 
Grah I actually emailed him about this a week ago and still haven't gotten a response.

MUST HYAVE MORE POWER!!! :mad:
 
Has anyone spoken with Corky lately? I think he might be out of town or just not checking email.
 
Yes, yeatureday via email. He is probably very busy, be patient.
 
I just changed that damn oil return gasket, and tightened all my bolts. I also washed my ride after 2 months of being dirty! It has been raining around here for a while. We will see what transpires.

Well I installl the Device, The installation was pretty simple. I can notice the difference the power is a lot smoother.
 
So FM: How close are you to a kit with bigger injectors and no FMU?

I think it is the same place. I never see any oil comming from the side that the stainless steel line is going to, only from the oil return side of the turbo. It was indeed the gasket that was causing the leak the 1st time. It had literally fallen apart!:eek:
