OK, here is my monthly rant.. I KNOW that the FCD's have been taking a while to get out- between working a lot lately and my own personal issues with my move (may have to move again ) making it almost impossible to get my tools/workshop 100% setup and then the FPR switches being backordered a couple of weeks ago when I ordered them (I have them now though)- it has just taken it's toll on me mentally and physically lately.

However- IF I GET ONE MORE GOD DAMNED PAYPAL COMPLAINT, WHINING CUSTOMER, ETC. FROM *ONLY* MY MSP CUSTOMERS- I AM GOING TO ******* FLIP!!! You are not the only people who have been waiting on products- yet you are the only ones to cry over it and file complaints through paypal, etc. Even worse is filing complaints without first emailing me- you know, the typical "all I have to do is push a button and people jump for me" mentality. I have a life and I have much bigger issues than your car fuel cutting when you try to beat the snot out of it. I am going through enough on my own trying to get this stuff done- I don't need you crying and reminding me. Your orders are not forgotten about!! As mentioned before, I have not been doing this for about 7 years by ripping people off. Anybody that has had any type of "real life" experiences would understand that there are much bigger problems out there.

I am starting out by just refunding the $$ to whoever complains or takes a nasty approach towards their order, from there- I am slowly weening away from the MSP products.. I told you guys it was going to happen if the "group" continued to be a problem. Why the hell do you guys think I haven't done the exhaust systems or IC pipes yet??-- Because they will be a special order (made per order) item which can take up to a month to build and ship and I DO NOT WANT TO EVEN *IMAGINE* THE s*** I WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH OVER THEM. Hell, the MBC is only $45, FPR $25 and FCD $60 and I am getting all this crap- I don't even want to know how some of these people will be with $500 items. It is not worth it to me.

If you are going to b**** over waiting for me to ship a part out- good luck waiting until someone else offers parts to replace mine with if I bail..

This is the attitude that ruins your reputation among a lot of the other big tuner shops- and why many of them have asked me if I wanted to carry their MSP specific parts so they didn't have to deal with it!!

BTW- do you know of anyone that has any vega parts? A friend of mine has a mid 8 second 73 that he banged the nose up on and I want to try to find a replacement for him.

I understand your complaint Joe. Unfortunately IMHO it's the demographic of MSP owners that is the cause -- there are a lot of young people with MSPs that are USED to getting things their way and when they want it.

I agree with your approach -- if they complain unreasonably, then cancel the order and return money. They're not worth the trouble and if they want better service they can take their chances spending their money elsewhere. (whip)

Please don't bail!!! I can understand people wanting their stuff, but like you said, there are a lot more important things than car parts.

I hate the fact that the msp community has become something that respectable people like you are starting to hate. To all those who filed a paypal complaint without sending an email first, :wtf: If you ordered a kit by finding out about it from this board, you should damn well better know that JoeP is one of the most knowledgeable and well respected peeps on this board. If you can't stop pushing your car past it's limits long enough to get a email back from him, you need some help.

Stay in high spirits Joe, I hope that everything you're dealing with works out for you. And please don't stop coming around the msp boards once in a while.

I wish you could continue to help, but I understand the reasons you don't want to. Even on Paypal's site they tell you to email the person before filing a complaint against them. It's amazing how much poeple want this car because it is limited, then wonder why no one makes any parts for it...My car would still be running like s*** on stock boost if it wasn't for you and your contributions. I may be a new guy to the forum but I'm not a 'n00b'. You said it yourself its not worth it to you, you're weening yourself off the MSP products. You complain about people complaining to you. Sounds real productive.

Joe, I ordered both my mbc and fpr kit from you. Inmy opinion you were quite professional and punctual with my deliveries. Then again, it wasnt during a time when you were moving etc.

I totally respect you and your business and i look at you as the voice of knowledge for the most part on this board. I for one would be sad to either see you go, or stop making products for the msp.

I believe i speak on behalf of everyone when i say that the msp community owes you a lot when it comes to the first step in modifying the msp. No one else ran 18 psi on the dyno and yielded the numbers you did. No one else took the initiative to help alleviate our fuel issue but you stepped up to the challenge. (could have been a smart economic move for you too.)

I genuinely believe you care about the msp community and it saddens me to see you upset at the community that you helped so greatly. I feel bad because i am still part of the community and it feels to some respect you are upset with me (in a very indirect convoluted manner.)

I trust you and your tuning techniques. Some venture to say that you are only in to tuning the msp because it was lucrative for you, (ie dont get the flash) But my answer to them is, well you caould have sold the fpr kit for 30 or 40 bux and people would have still bought it and you would have made more money.

I value your opinion highly and really dont want you to leave the boards. I have learned a lot from your threads and hope to continue to do so.

PS( also i am looking to buy a fuel cut defender, are you still producing them and how long (ballpark) until i could potentially have one?)

I know everyone who has Vega parts! I have personally had 15 of them!

My fastest went mid 11s with a built 1991 Corvette TPI in it, and after I geared it to road race it went 155 at PIR. I have great video somewhere of me passing two Ferrari's and a modded Viper, then getting smoked by an F50 - priceless!

Find out what parts he needs exactly and I am sure I can get them. Maybe a trade for a MBC in the deal - But I want it right now!!! Just kidding...

Well, when you put it that way- he does kind of make sense . It is not that I hate the crowd- hell, I don't even know any of you to decide if I hate you or not . It is just a lot of stress for products that only make up probably less than 5% of my sales. Even among the members of this forum that have been here a while, it is well known that the "new" guys are bringing the site, and the MSP community down. It is a shame- and I am not speaking of everyone here that is new, not everyone is the "stereotypical noob" .

He needs a nose (header panel?), grille and possibly a bumper (might just do a split bumper mod like the early 70's Z 28's ). Let me know- THANKS!!!
