so im getting a msp in 2ish weeks ;) and it has the ion exhaust on it.....ive searched the forums and youtube i got nothing.... i cant find any info/vids of the exhaust. Anyone know what it sounds like or has a clip of it? only thing i heard was that they dont make it anymore (duh) and that it was probably one of the loudest ones made for the msp.

thanks for the info

"Manufactured entirely from T304 Stainless Steel, this turbo-back exhaust features the following:

• Replaces all the factory exhaust components right from the turbo to the exhaust muffler tip

• Our system retains a 3" hi-flow cat converter (3" race-pipe optional)

• Fully mandrel bent 16 gauge 76mm (3") diameter exhaust tubing for big horsepower gains (22.2WHP and 12.5ft-lbs of torque gain vs. the stock exhaust @ STOCK boost. Peak gain was 31.1WHP even with a 3" hi-flow cat converter, 3" race-pipe will make ~5whp more @ stock boost).

• A cannister style straight through muffler (optional 76mm (3") inline resonator) produces a deep rich tone.
• Exits into a 3.5"" angle cut polished Tip. This tip gives the exhaust system an "almost stock" appearance.

• Our system will not cause your factory ECU to throw a check engine light. No electronic fixes required.
• This unit comes with all necessary stainless steel installation hardware and utilizes all of the stock mounting points, making installation quick and easy .
*Note that the 1-piece down-pipe shown features optional ceramic coating, this is a $95US option*

MSRP: $1695USD + shipping"

Thats the specs of it :)

I cant find any videos or sound clips of it anywhere, But from what I hear its a good system, Just a lil pricey.

Do they even make it anymore? It would be a great system to have, But i Might still build my own once i get my hands on a GHL 3" downpipe.

But iON is a great looking system.

I don't believe they do make it anymore.

I got mine used off of another member. I am convinced that this system is probably the best for the msp.

just from reading the specs i can already tell that is by far the best system. sounds even better than the ghl, of course the price is a reflection of that.

that's where I got the link I posted. I wish more of them worked though
