I own a 2002 Mazda 626 and I love it. I bought it just about brand new - 1100 miles (it was a mazda employee's car) anyway. . . I am having a problem with it and I think it could potentially serious because the check engine lite was flashing. I'd be going at a normal speed (45-55mph) and it begins to buck and act like it's going to stall(but it doesn't). On my way home from work (I commute 30-35 each way to work) it began doing it real bad and that's when the check engine lite began to flash. I got it home and the dealership will be looking at it Monday. Now, I have kept up with the oil changes, the tire rotation and the inspection, but that's about it. What is going to happen to me if I didn't keep up with and don't have the receipts for the other scheduled maintenence that should have been done on my car - DOES THAT MEAN THAT THIS PROBLEM WON'T BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY??? Any advice for me?? Thanks!!! (help)

Depends on the problem I suppose. What did the dealer say it was? Sounds like when my fuel pump went.

Did you get all the maintenance done at the dealership? If so they(or any mechanic, come to think of it) oughtta have records for you.

always keep receipts of your maintenance for your own benefit. im not saying keep every oil change receipt, but if you have scheduled maintenance done, you ought to keep the receipt.
