dude..relax..just go to the dealership and have them take off the wheel locks(they havethe keys) and replace them with reg lugs

well, i am in the same club! when i changed my wheels over a few weeks ago, i might of left the key on the last lug when tighting. i cant find that cocksucker no where.
not sure what im gonna do, anybody got any ideas.

mine is a specialty locking lug nut set, you have to have the serial number to get another exact key. i have no idea where that serial number is.

Factory lock nuts suck...

If you are not very very careful when unscrewing or screwing them on, they strip very easily!!!...go invest 20-30 bux on some better aftermarket ones...you'll thank yourself later!...

i am pretty certain they are mr.lugnut, i am going to call them monday to see what they say.

For those who don't know if they've lost their wheel key (or have never thought to look for it), check in the spare tire tool set in your trunk. That's where mine was ... but isn't anymore, it's stowed somewhere more mysterious :D

I freaked out at first, but was safe and sound once i found it hiding back there. good luck

Ok, the factory locks do strip but are not easy for a theif to get off. I had bought some nice gorrilla locks for my car for the $30 bucks. Well when the key broke I went to Sears and got a stripped bolt removal kit for $50. Took all the locks off with no problem.

After putting the factory lugs and locks back on one of the locks became stripped. Well my kit couldn't get it off so I had to go to the dealership. I bought 4 regular lugs at $5 each and completly removed the locks because I can't afford to have a flat locked on. I have insurance if anything happens to them.
