Ok, who's running Joes FPR Post Flash????????

Can't get higher than 91 in california. Unless you buy race fuel, which is over 5 bucks a gallon.

How can I tell if my car is detonating? I did a search and some people say you can hear it, and others say you can't. So what's the deal? How can I check to see if my car is detonating. I just got the flash today, and still have my FPR installed.

Also, with the colder copper plugs, and boosting to 10psi, do you think I'm at risk of engine going boom with both flash AND FPR installed?

You would hear an audible pinging/rattling noise while under boost if you are lucky. If you hear any noise out of the ordinary- lift off the throttle before you break it :).

is hitting the cut off damaging? i must admit, i hit it a few times in the tuning process but it never peaked more than 11psi. It felt like a sudden jarring sensation. I quickly lifted the throttle and it came back online. It happened about 4 times.

I left mine on when I got the flash and drove it that way for a few days. Took it off and drove it for a few days. Didn't notice any difference in mileage or power either way, so I put it back on and have driven 3000 miles since. No problem with detonation and I run 87 octane gas.

OMG 87 OCTANE! :eek:
