OK, whjo's been messing with the Forum settings???

Over the last day, Every time I come to the forum strange things are happening. 3 times I've come to the forum (same PC) and The forum layout is different. Sometimes when I get here the foprums are displayed in compressed listings, other times they show up with thread branches expanded, other times They show up with "you are subscribed to this thread" listed below every thread, other times Peoples avatars are showing up with strange phrases listed over and over below their pictures!!

Who ever is playing around with the forums settings

If the forum settings were actually changed, they were changed by and administrator... and they were changed for some good reason. Be careful with that tone if you end up talking to an admin, otherwise your tushy will be out to the curb before you can say zoom zoom

i dont think hes said anything that could get him banned or booted, i just dont know what hes talking about. i have yet to come across any forum shenanigans.

You're right... I just know most admins on boards I've been to already have their hands full and don't like their authorita questioned. That's all

I wasn't whining! I'ma network admin. Most of us want to know immediately when weird stuff starts happening (just don't tell me about one off events!) And the forums have been doing weird things in the late evenings recently!

No more comment from me on this subject!

I will say from Day 1 I've been getting a lot of 404 - Page Not Found's on this site... A Refresh usually pushes it through, though

I have seen some unusual things including the page not found fiasco. Thanks for the input. It always helps to know what people are seeing. I have heard of a few of the problems you have seen. Keep me posted if you like. Thanks

i've seen the threaded view before (in some kind of treeview control). i'd rather see all posts though because usually replies to specific posts will have the post quoted in the reply.

i have been getting the 404 messages recently. maybe over the past month or so.

The fact that HTML is turned on creates a lot of security risks for vBulletin. Most forums do not have this activated, this is one of the few that I visit that do. It could be just that for all I know...
