Same here...Terry will call the place that he has making the springs, and is supposed to call me around 2pmET so hopefully he'll have some good news for us. At least the ride isn't bad with these springs installed, I just don't care for the "raked" look.

Yeah, like paulmp3 I noticed my rear dropped, but not as much as I wanted it to. I would've liked another 1/2". The picture on SPOOL's site looked like his were definitely lower in the rear and had a more even drop overall. I wonder if it was a defective batch? Although I got mine in March.

2K3...I would love to buy just your rear skunk2 coilovers....don't know what you think about that, but it is worth a try asking
I wish I would have used my spool springs on the front and kept my skunk2 for the back. Oh well...and by the way, my spools came in the march batch, looked the same as the ones posted earlier, obvious big change from the new batch.

I love how my MP3 looks when somebody is sitting in the back. It looks like the picture on SPOOL's website. However, when it is empty it is a tad too high 
. Maybe I'll just have to keep a body in my trunk again ...

I got my Spool Springs installed yesterday and the guy had trouble getting them to stay on the perch too. I bought these from the last batch as well. He said that the top of the spring was too far away from the rest of the spring. He did finally get them to sit right but after the install we went for a ride. He thought the car was too bouncy due to a stock rubber piece at the top of the strut that he didnt remove. Any ideas on this and if he should of removed it.

Okay guys, I just got off the phone with Terry. He talked to his spring guy, and they will check the springs out next week. I am PM'ing him the pics of our Spool springs and the older(normal)Spool springs so he can see the difference. More than likely, he will have to send us all a new set of rear springs. We will also keep the screwed up ones, since they are useless. He also said he will be on here more often to fill us in on the progress, and I think he said he will be contacting everyone who ordered from this last bacth(roughly 20 people). Remember, these springs are made by a 3rd party company, Terry had no control over the mistake. So for now, sit tight, and all will be resolved soon

Hello all and I sincerely apologize for my inability to get on here sooner.....Here is the scoop. I spoke to my spring guy and looks like this recent batch was all defective. He wants to confirm it himself and will try installing a set next weekend. If they are not good..............which I really expect all of you guys will be getting a new set of springs from this last batch. So whoever has not installed them hold off until we can get a better confirmation. I will get on this thread more often to keep ya'll updated.
