Today I was putting in my 1 step colder plugs and while I had the TMIC off I decided to check every clamp on my car.

WTF!!!! Every single clamp was at least 5-10 Turns before they were tight!!! You're joking right? Specially sense I tighted them all (except the cold side TB one) about a month ago.

My next purchase is T-Clamps as well as new hoses. The POS ones on the MS3 have got to go.

On the up side; I ran the s*** out of my car today and I had 0, nadda, zip Stuttering!!!!! WOOT! That is such good news for me.

Now, was it the Plugs or the Clamps (ghey)

Anyway, I highly suggest new hoses and clamps along with 1 step colder plugs if your boosting above stock. At the VERY least, check all your clamps at least once a month.

I checked mine yesterday and they all seemed ok. I snugged them up a turn or 2 anyway though. T clamps are definitely the way to go though.

I've had no problems with hoses or clamps, that's weird. It could be an issue with the screw that's in the clamp not properly tightening.

see and people thought i was crazy that I had boost leaks...... even the vac hoses I thought i zip tied tight were loose. Have some one double check your s*** people

Yes, when I upgraded Intercooler I found loose clamps, all 4, on inlet and outlet tubes plus my Two bolts "holding" down my Bov were not torqued to much of anything. I was only able to drive it twice due to weather and have no boost gauge since doing the tighten up but what a difference. It's not like I gained 100 hp but it revs much harder through all gears. I still think your crazy 280. Glad to hear its running right Bravnik! PS I just remembered, while I was driving the little chirp seemed more crisp, probably just my imagination though

I have a one set of the cold side T-bolt clamps left in the parts section. They are the beafy Summit stainless clamps. The 3" ones. Then all you need is the 2.5" clamps for the hot side.

yeah i found this same thing when i had my top mount off... there are no torque specs for those as far as I could find, but they were loose as hell, spec or not, that cant be good...

Right I was concerned about tq. on that cheap plastic housing. I will check these often till I am comfortable they aren't vibrating loose. I also need to check the vacuum system for same! It's a shame either way , not engineered properly or poor assembly. Still love her though
