Just regular recommeded oil. I prefer castrol and thats what I have used since new. No problems what so ever.

I remember reading a research paper about oil and they said that the 50/50 mix actually perfomed worse in some circumstances than even reg oil.

I'd say go synthetic. Also remember to use a good oil filter and good air filter

i have been using 50/50 5w30 for year and half. a guy i work with said he saw on some car show on tv say something good about 50/50 so i thought i would go that route. just wondered if anyone was using the same or just what they use in general

Under normal use I really don't think it matters all that much, if you change it regularly.

I am for synthetic, however, because it's better for your gaskets and does not form sludge.
