Oil use problem. what do I do?????

ok, here is the issue,

I need some help on this.

I ordered a autometer oil pressure guage that arrived today. I want to install the guage but everything I have read says I need to drain the oil to install it.

the problem is, I just did an oil change 4 days ago and I dont want to fork over the money to do it again.

could I reuse the oil where it has only been in the car for a few miles or is this a big "no no".

any help is appreciated. I am guessing I am going to have to bite the bullit and buy more oil (waste!!!) or wait till my next change.

Coming from a mechanics POV, no matter how new the oil, never reuse it. Your gonna either have to get new stuff, or wait till your next oil change.

I figured. and the cup holders are due in tomarrow. I will mail them out probably thursday because I am in meetings all day tomarrow.

So it should be soon. when was your show you wanted to have them buy?
