Oil Pump Labor/Parts Cost?

I'm thinking of running some seafoam s*** through the car before i change the oil. I've heard you don't use the brake booster line like N/A cars, so this is my understanding...

Pour some into the crank case.
Take off PCV line and pour some into there while the car idles.
Shut off the car for 5 minutes.
Put some in the gas tank.
Start it up and drive around until the smoke stops coming out of the exhuast.
Change the oil.

Is this correct? I've got check valves in my PCV line so will this work or am I going to have to remove the check valves to get it to work correctly? Also, does anyone have a rough estimate of how much seafoam to use in the PCV, Crankcase, and Gas tank?

I am not a believer in seafoam! I feel that it does more harm than good. Some of the engines here at work that we've torn down and their owner's used that s*** look just terrible.

I've heard it washes away the film on the sleeves. But on an engine with cloged oil galleys it may be better to get oil flowing again.
