Oil pan needs to be replaced!!!!

Hello everyone

130000km on my P5, and the oil pan is so rusted and thinned that it needs to be replaced. This is insane!!!!

Anyone else with the same problem?

130000km sur ma P5 et le carter d'huile est tellement rouill et aminci qu'il doit tre remplac. Incroyable!!!

Moi je n'ai pas eu de trouble avec la mienne ou celle de mon frre. C'est la premire fois que j'entend parler de ce problme. a doit juste tre une malchance.

I had a 1990 Civic Si for 10 years, that was never a problem...very frustrating.

I've discoverd so many little expensive problems on this car lately that getting rid of it is on my mind, and I ain't buying a Mazda product again.

Ouin, toutes les pannes en acier doivent tre vrifier de temps a autre car il se fait souvent de la corrosion par l'extrieur d a la condensation dans un climat comme le Qubec.

I wouldnt complain about anything rusting on my car in this Province. This is Quebec and the roads are heavily salted. Salt and mjority of metals will always = rust. It's a chemical reaction.

At 125500km on my Protege5 it isn't rusting badly enough that it needs replacement.

Did you ever have your car undercoated? Cars are not made to withstand the harsh road salt used in Canada and throughout most of the Northeast of the States. An undercoating is pretty much necessary
