Oil in TIP...Bad?!?

EDIT: After looking at your pics. Mine wasn't that bad. On the Tube itself was just some residue. I didn't have any build up on the actual inlet. It had a problem with cutting out. But It was also due to my clamp being completely stripped and loose. Bought a new clamp and it runs perfect right now.

Never had problems like that...KNOCK ON FREAKIN WOOD! Well glad im not the only one...And it doesnt seem serious, but who knows.

I hear ya, I'm going to get the OCC to help prevent anything still.

Yea, I noticed this thread after I dropped my TIP in. I was a little worried as well when I found a little bit of oil in there, but was already looking into an OCC anyways because of the bad PCV. Was going to post it, but you beat me to it.

Sorry to double post, but does anyone have a link to any OCC's with a plug on the bottom so you can drain it without disconencting it, and has a meter on it saying how full it is? Thanks!

most of them have both of those items.. its just a question of specific fitting for your car in particular.. i went with the small greddy.. it has those features.. but so do some $50 versions..
