Mobil 1 has been noted to be at the bottom of the 'synthetic oil' category. There are plenty of oils for the same price that are a higher quality.

Now I've heard it all. Mobil 1 at the bottom of the category?

Yeah, that's getting to be a big site with lots of differing opinions and "facts".

I've always wanted to try something else. What would you guys recommend? Quaker Q, Pennzoil, Valvoline, Royal Purple and Castrol is the only synthetic stuff I can find here.... (could of missed 1 or 2??).

Though I'm pretty biased right now to Mobil 1, cause I've always used it, sometimes I find that about 1000km's after a change, the oil seems to thin out (butt feel). But again, I've never tried any other oil to compare it to.

If you have a Walmart near you you likely have Rotella also. I'm currently using their syn 5-40.
