Hey guys i have a quick question, is there a way to take the screw that is in the block that you screw the oil filter into??

Loosen the nut, lock it to an oil filter so that you can use a wrench on the nut to remove the tube. Similar to the way you would go about removing a screw-in stud.
 
There was a lady that would come in to the dealer (honda)that I worked for, she would always come in with a ford filter and luckily (yeah right)I would get to work on it. For some odd reasonm it never occured to her to buy a filter and have the other dealer use that for her. I would almost always remove that bolt with the ford filter, I would use just about everything to try and keep it on there like lock tight but the filter would cross thread and when I would remove it I'd have to replace it. We would stock that part it seems just for her.

Huh? Wrong filter...
