The service manual for the Mazda 3 suggest changing the oil every 7500 or 5000 miles for N. America depending on the type of driving and conditions. I was planning to change every 5K miles but the dealer service department and local oil shop is recommending a change at 3000 miles. Should you follow the manual or the service recommendation? At how many miles after break-in are current Mazda 3 owners getting an oil change?
