Official 2010+ Mazda3 Rollcall

Been the proud owner of my 2011 Mz3s Hatchback 6-speed for more than a year now. New to the forum as I just recently returned from overseas. I have been enjoying all the time driving. Recently started to make mods, first 2 done: CIA, from AEM; and cat-back exhaust from Magnaflow. The next addition will be bc coilovers (arriving tomorrow) with new tires and rims. I will post pics when all is in.

Welcome to the forum! Glad you're enjoying the car. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures.

Hey Everyone,

New to Mazda. The wife and I just picked up a 2012 Mazda3 Skyactiv, MT, leather + moonroof. I now understand why Mazdas have a reputation as a driver's car. The braking, handling, and shifting are all great. Can't wait to see how the fuel efficiency works out on the first Nova Scotia to Ontario drive this summer. No pictures yet, but they're coming.

In the online reviews for this car I've seen a lot of complaints about the interior and the "smiley" front grille for which Mazda is infamous. My wife and I both like the interior and I don't see what the big deal is about the front end. My $.0.02.

Welcome to the forum! I'm glad you've come around to a car that is "worth driving." :D

I'm with you though I like the smiley face! (2thumbs)

My new Mazda 3 Skyactive hatchback

I just purchased my first Mazda on friday. I picked up a Mazda 3 HB and can't stop driving it.

Hi all. I'm new to the forums and new to Mazda. I just traded in my Dodge Ram for a 2012 Mazda 3i hatchback last week. Believe it or not, I actually got it as a family car for my dog and twin daughters and I. The hatch is great for the dog, and there's plenty of room for the two car seats, and best of all, it gets incredible gas mileage, so I felt like it was a good choice. It rides great, and I'm enjoying the bluetooth. I'm not a big fan of the wheels though. The only mod I've done so far is window tint this morning, but I haven't taken a picture yet. I have some 18" gunmetal Drag DR-33 wheels on order, but no telling how long those will take to get here. Here's a stock pic of my car.

Greetings! I'm new here and just picked up a '12 Mazda3 i Touring Hatch with the manual transmission. It's been a while since I've owned a Mazda, I previously had a '90 Miata. I picked the 3 up as my new daily driver replacing my Nissan pickup.

Obligatory stock car pics:

MIDNIGHTAXELA: You car looks insane man. Nice and clean. Love it. How much for the roof racks? I was thinking about doing that myself.

FrankenMazda: Well here the thing... I actually bought the car with the hood, and it doesnt look like it needed any mods. The only thing i saw which you can see in the picture is theres a small gap at the front inbetween the bumper and hood. But with alittle adjustment and a rubber water seal it worked perfect.

There are also convex body line creases that are discontinuous between the hood and the bumper. That wouldn't work for me.

Yeah again... i bought it that way from the dealer... i didnt do it. But it doesnt seem to really bother me that much. That gap upfront did though. Plus there was alot of water getting in to the engine bay so had to adjust that quick. BUt its alright. works for me.

Hoping to keep the mods clean. Will be adding spacers to the back wheels eventually.

My 2012 Liguid Silver Mazda 3 is in getting 20 % tints all around as we speak! I absolutely love this car. I drive about 75 miles a day and I could not be happier. My license plate is MY ZM ZM so if you see me around honk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a '12 MZ3S Touring auto a few weeks ago. This is my first 'real' car (if you want to consider a '74 Beetle as a car, so be it) I have owned. I was brought up with trucks, in the desert and rocks, and have built a few rigs. I have to tell you Mazda folks, I now know where the slogan came from. Very fun car to drive! I bought it as a daily driver, to save fuel, and wear and tear on my 3/4T pickup.

I'm completly new to Mazda's, and I'm looking forward to reading through some tech here to learn more. I don't plan on major modifications yet. I plan on 35% tint for now and let it be for a bit. I would like to get a bit more low end power (power in general), better tires for street/track, more aggresive swaybars etc. after I do a LOT more research.

Pics, stock.
