Official 2010+ Mazda3 Rollcall

Quick one.... What ms cai did you use? Was there any "fitment" issues?
I have been told that the previous years won't fit!?

I bought the MS CAI when I first bought my 2007 MS3, so I think its the first series. I orginally was told the samething when I first bought the 2010 MS3 so I just sat on it for a while. After seeing Cobb, Corksport and pretty much everyone else that makes a CAI for the MS3s (07-10) installing it without issue, I decided to call the dealership and ask my buddy in service to do the work. The dealership told me that he might run into problems before they tried to install it but his tech was able to get it in. There was no issues for the CAI or the TIP from Cobb. The only thing the tech said was an "issue" was the stock intake plastic hose from the front end to the stock intake box. He didn't know what to do with it so he left it connected. I removed it of course as there is no need for the stocker with the CAI now. Hope this helps, I have to say the gains are worth fighting with someone to install it for you or you can always DIY. I didn't want to mess with all that since I only have 4800 miles on my car and my buddy only charged me $100 to install both.

Hey everyone, I'm Helen and I just got a black mica ms3 a week ago, no tech package. It's great!!!! My brother just installed a turbo timer in the car for me...i'm gonna go get the windows tinted this weekend, I'll get a picture up as soon as I can. I kinda wished that Mazda would've had a white MS3 though, it's been only a week and I had to wash the car since it looked dirty. But oh well, have to admit that the black looks super nice! I'm gonna be washing this baby every week!!!

I'm in Oakland Bay Area, California but I'm moving south next week to LA. Anyway, I look forward to this forum!

thanks nadim! i got a greddy one....my brother wanted to put in an hks one but we were running out of time so he put in whatever he could find...today's a beautiful day so i'm gonna go outside and take pictures!!

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention, after i washed my car the gods decided it was time for rain

I'm a little sad guys because I took my MS3 into the dealership to get the little plastic piece under the front bumper changed (When I bought the car that piece was broken/torn) and they told me they had to go refinish the bumper and repaint it because their were also scratches in the bumper! I took a look and sure enough, two pinky nail sized scrapes in my bumper :*(

i just got approved at mazda today for 2010 speed3 traded my protegespeed in and ill be picking it up in 2 days its gettin shipped from the port i could of got a red today but its been there for a while and i dont no how many people have drove it and how hard.i took it for an hour 45 min test drive and a i came to a red light with a bmw m5 iam sure you guys can figure out what happen

I just recieved my 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 about a month ago from Indy (I live in Ft. Wayne, In.). It's got 1k on it now and is a beautiful celestrial blue. It may not be the typical car a 62 year old man would buy, but I enjoy the style and power. Quite a change from the Scion XA I had before. I also like the utility of the 5 door and folding seats. I would like to get a mechanical workshop manual for it (dealer here does not have them available yet). It would be good to hear from others who have had the 2010 MS3 longer and of any problems to look out for. Thanks, Marc

Sqeaky driver seat! But really that is my only complaint. I did some mods to mine but to each his own. Nice color (have the same color) and enjoy your new MS3

Hello everyone... here is pics of my Celestial Blue MS3. Purchased mine in Nov of 09, this is the second MS3 I have owned. Already have the Mazdaspeed CAI and Cobb TIP installed. I kept the stock rims from the 07 MS3 and put some Blizzaks for the snow.

Where did you get the lights for the license plate and what size are they? I am assuming that they are LEDs.

they are 7 LED bulbs that I got on ebay, I believe they are T15 bulbs. Paid like $14 shipped for them. Pretty easy to install too.

Just joined the forum today, but I've owned my '10 MS3 since mid-December. I've already added some mods but more to come soon. I really need to get the windows tinted, the summer heat is killing me!
