Octane

Hey guys, I'm about to do the Dynotronics tune but I will not have the cables to do so until they ship them out. My question is I want to tune with premium fuel but I wsnt sure if it was safe to do so before tuning the car? I know the 2 is setup for regular fuel is it safe to run higher octane?

Safe? Yes. But you won't gain any performance from it. Not until after the tune anyways.

I have a good amount of power mods on my car and I run mid grade and I've found that he actually runs happier with the mid grade. Since the tune asks for 93 I would begin the transition over a few days before you start the tunes just to be sure you have all the old fuel out.
