OBD2 code reader

Ive got a CEL im sure because my CAI got wet
I have a innova 1003 OBD2 reader but it just comes up with an error message - its an older reader so im assuming that this reader is to old to work on the speed 6??

if you know its because your MAF got wet (and i'm assuming you've cleaned it/dried it), just pull your negative battery cable, let it sit for a couple minutes, hook it back up and you are done.
