O2 sensors, and sparkplug fowlers

All my evo friends have said they have great luck with this, so I'm going to be trying it in the next couple weeks to see how well it works.

Incase you dont know what it is,

When you remove your catylac converter, you throw a code cause the last 02 sensor is just a sniffer. Well When you buy an 02 sparkplug non fowlers adapter and put them on the plug. (some may need boreing out) then screw the sensor in the fowler into the bored out one, then put that fowler adapter into the 2nd one you got (they usually come in pairs, from autozone or something) and it basicallys looks like you have a catylac converter. But ofcourse you dont. That way the sensor see's very little exhaust.

What do you guys think? work yes or no? we will find out though in a couple weeks on my car. So far my friends evos' (3 of em) works perfectly.

Rear O2 sensor is just measuring heat, which equals to a specific voltage.. A simple diode/resistor works as well if you know the supposed voltage the 02 is reading ( software can tell you this). Never tried plug fowlers but interesting none the less.

I've tried them all.

First I wired in diode, went about 3K with no problems. Then I started getting a CEL. figured I wired the diode too close to the exhaust and burned it up.

Reinstalled new diode, I would get CEL instantly to every few hundred miles?

Removed diode and installed ATP's CEL trick. Removed the original emissions related CEL, but created an entirely new one....WTF?

Removed ATPs thing, re wired diode, bored out one non-fowler and installed. Also added a quick disconect in between as I got tired of unscrewing it as I seemed to have my DP off quite often.

I haven't had a CEL in months. So I don't know what the hell is going on with my car?

sounds good then, I just didnt know if it worked as easy on our cars as my friends evos. Thanks for the link!
